I lasted until 3:38, things became hectic :D Nice difficulty curve.
I love this gameplay, very cool idea! I like heat management (love Battletech for that) and it works pretty well here (even though after a while it seems pointless to use the long press and it seems better to shoot many fast bursts?). Also, it's frustrating when the ship stays on a distant target when another foe is charging full speed (but, heh).

I remind you it is possible to increase the difficulty holding on the button when starting (or restarting) the level!
It would be cool if the ship retargeted the nearest enemy, but otherwise solid 1-button game.
